Pre-requisites and the method of
making dua
- Eating Haram, wearing
Haram, and earning Haram MUST be avoided.

- To make two Rak’aat Salah before
dua.

- To perform some good (any) deed
before dua, and to recount the good deed during dua.

- Both hands
should be spread.

should be raised.

- Both hands
should be raised till shoulder height.

- To adopt the Sunnah duas as
recited by Rasul-ullah (Sallaho Alaihe Wassallam)
as reported in authentic narrations.
